What was the highlight of Hotel Clansani Tenerife

Ideal winter break

Although Clansani is a bit remote it is in a lovely setting. 15 minutes walk to restaurants and supermarket. Fabulous large balconies with lovely views. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the chef does very nice breakfast and lunchtime food.

The fence around the pool spoils what is a lovely area otherwise, if it was taken away it would be perfect !

Friendly staff and well organized check in even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Interior and amenities very simple but had main things you might need. Alltogether it was good experience but everything was just a little less than expected.

Remote and quiet area with nothing much around unless you are there to play golf. I would recommend renting a car if you stay there. Pool had a white safety fence around it that pretty much spoils the view or feeling of the patio that looked amazing in the pictures.

Not up to standard of other properties we have used in tenerife.

Friendly staff always cheerful and helpful.

Property in need of serious upgrade to facilities- no Wi-Fi access in rooms and our sofa was virtually collapsing through the floor. Much room decoration etc just looks very tired. Location of property is also misleading as it is at very top end of golf course, so a car is really essential.

Short and sweet in Clansani

The apartment was clean. The bed was very comfortable. For one night it was a great stay. I wouldn't stay for a holiday. I would choose a better location and bigger apartment.

It was very noisy early morning. About 0630 hours. Lots of children screaming, running around. Adults shouting. Doors banging.

Disappointing. Room needs new fan. We cancelled the further nights stay.

Location

Ineffective air conditioning. Just a ceiling fan which was broken. Very small room. Lots of very noisy crickets behind the wardrobe. We were kept awake most of the night with the cricket calls and the heat and stuffiness of the room. My husband removed some of them during the night. Not what you anticipate doing on holiday, moving wardrobes around hunting for crickets . The fan was off balance and very very noisy. Old and dated.

I can honestly say one of the most comfortable beds I've...

I can honestly say one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and the staff were nice, friendly cleaners, when I was there it was really quite so I loved that.

This isn't a 5 star hotel, but it doesn't say it's a 5 star hotel, it's a fairly old hotel but always cleaned, I think my room was cleaned about every 3 days, a downside for me was no english TV or eurosport, but all in all not a bad hotel, also I had a car hired as the hotel is a little bit far from los cristianos and las Americas

The bedrooms need updating.

The bedrooms need updating. The staff are excellent. Friendly and efficient.

Reception being unmanned after 5pm. On one or two nights I was the only person staying there - no good for personal security

The property was just ok

Instead of being advertised as a hotel bungalow it was a half hour walk from the hotel even the taxi driver couldn’t find it we were left walking around for an hour at 9 o’clock at night and when I went to the hotel the next day to hand back the keys I asked the lady at reception to see the lady in charge but she said she wasn’t there she listened to my complaint but never offered me a complaint form i went to see the lady in charge the following day but she just fobbed me off saying i had to contact the owner who she would not give me her mobile number not only it was not as described only for the fact i know that area and found a hotel for my wife and kids i don’t know what i would have done

Ok as a brief stopover, but not somewhere we'd stay for a holiday

The breakfast was rather basic, but ok. Location rather isolated, although easy enough to walk into more central areas (shops, restaurants). Directly under the glide path of planes coming in, but other than that, very quiet. Very helpful and friendly young Hungarian lady on the staff. Pool area nice enough, pool small and fenced in, but ok for a short swim. There was a hot tub by the pool, but it wasn't in use when we were there.

Breakfast was very basic. Bar and restaurant not open in the evening.
